Meet Max, a 6-year-old hockey fanatic, with a very rare heart condition that has required two open-heart surgeries with a lifetime of monitoring. In partnership with Make-A-Wish Arizona, Suntec Concrete built the foundation for a personal backyard hockey rink for Max.
Along with the hockey rink, Max got a visit from the Arizona Coyotes mascot, Howler, and a new helmet, skates, jerseys and lots of sticks. Since Max’s condition prevents him from participating on a team, we were glad we could help bring hockey back into his life and making his wish come true.
