Description: The first phase of a $1.8 billion mixed-use project and luxury apartment complex on Tempe Town Lake is nearing completion.

Shorehaven, part of the South Pier at Tempe Town Lake project, sits on a 3.3-acre lot and will have 1.3 million square feet across three towers and includes residential, retail and recreational spaces. It will have 724 residential units, three levels of subterranean parking, 26,000 square feet of retail at the base of the three towers and a 2-acre park at the center of the project.

The complex also includes resort-style pools with outdoor bars, clubroom and entertainment spaces, three fitness centers and an outdoor dog park.

Towers one and two both have 21 stories and tower three will have 23 stories. The high-rise apartment complex will be among the tallest buildings in Tempe.

History: Developing this section of the lake was part of the original vision when Tempe Town Lake opened in 1999. The 3-acre lot was sold for $33.75 million in 2022, and construction broke ground in 2023.

When will the work be done? All three towers are expected to open in 2026.
