ASU Stadium consisted of 460,000 square feet of slab on grade, slab on deck, stadium concrete risers on a radius, and 430 caissons. Work consisted of 3 years of concrete construction where the football season was uninterrupted by construction. This project had an extremely aggressive schedule with caissons going deep in to bedrock. Construction challenges incurred due to portions of existing upper level stadium not being demolished thus needing to be shored while new construction was built under and around it.
