Holiday gift-giving started early in the Cartwright School District. On Tuesday, November 24, Tracy Wagner, a fourth grade teacher at Peralta Elementary, was selected by Suntec Concrete Corporation to receive $6,000 in supplies for her school. Supplies included uniforms for students, literature, paper, toner, computer cartridges, cleaners and science supplies. Principal Jennifer Botello explained, “Ms. Wagner was nominated for the award by some of the parents in the school community. She was recognized for her generosity in education and because she is an outstanding teacher who makes a difference in her students’ lives.”
